INPORTANCE OF PHYSICOCHEMICAL AND MICROBIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS IN DEFINING THE PURITY OF WATER-A REVIEW [Full Text]

Abstract: In countries, like India, where the majority of population live in villages with bare infrastructural facilities, poor sanitation and hygiene, the concept of safe drinking water assumes greater significance. Recent global concern has raised many questions about the safety of drinking water. Hence, monitoring and conserving these important resources is essential. The availability of good quality water is an indispensable feature for preventing diseases and improving quality of life. It is necessary to know details about different physicochemical parameters such as color, temperature, acidity, hardness, pH, sulphate, chloride, DO, BOD, COD, alkalinity used for testing of water quality. Heavy metals such as Pb, Cr, Fe, Hg etc. are of special concern. The present study attempts to bring an acute awareness among the people about various parameters

AUTOMATIC PENALTY CHARGING ON TRAFFIC VIOLATION [Full Text]

Abstract: The research, 'Automatic Penalty Charging for Traffic Regulation', is an attempt to design a system which will automatically incur penalty to the car driver and owner for violation of traffic rules. There are 3 units to be designed. One will be a standalone system attached to the ignition mechanism of the car, the other will be a standalone system which will be attached to the traffic signal points and the third will be mainframe RTO unit. For car ignition the driver has to place his RFID driving license card near to the reader. The design aims to reduce bribery, corruption, pollution, congestion in a city.

A Secure Circuit Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption In Cloud Computing [Full Text]

Abstract: In the cloud, for accomplishing access control and data security, the data owners could uses attribute-based encryp- tion to encrypt the stored data. To reduce the cost, the users which have a limited computing power are nevertheless more likely to delegate the mask of the decryption task to the cloud servers. The result shows, attribute-based encryption with delegation come out. Still, there are some problems and questions regarding to previous related works. For example, during the delegation or release, the cloud servers could misrepresent or replace the delegated ciphertext and respond a fake result with malevolent intent. As well as for the purpose of cost saving the cloud server may also fraud the eligible users by responding them that they are unworthy. Even, the access policies may not be flexible during the encryption. Since policy for general circuits are used to achieve the strongest form of access control, a construction to design circuit ciphertext-policy attribute-based hybrid encryption with verifiable delegation has been developed. This system is mixed with verifiable computation and encrypt-then-Mac mechanism, the data confidentiality, the fine-grained access control as well as the correctness of the delegated computing results are well guaranteed at the same time. As well as this scheme achieves security against chosen-plaintext attacks under the k-multilinear Decisional Diffie-Hellman assumption. Moreover, this scheme achieves feasibility as well as efficiency. Index Terms—Ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption, circuits ,hybrid encryption, multi linear map, verifiable delega- tion.

An Efficient Deduplication Approach To Maximally Detect And Eliminate Data Redundancy At Low Overhead In Cloud Environment [Full Text]

Abstract: Data reduction is becoming important in storage systems in big data era. Data deduplication is a technique of reducing storage needs by eliminating redundant data. To attain the high data deduplication, an efficient deduplication approach i.e. DARE, a low-overhead deduplication-aware resemblance detection and elimination scheme is designed. In this system, we perform deduplication on cloud. Firstly we fragment the file and then apply AES encryption algorithm to encrypt the file. This provides security. SHA-256 is used to check duplicate files. DARE performs deduplication at three levels i.e root level, block(chunk) level and then adjacent chunks are checked. The DARE use Duplicate Adjacency resemblance Detection (dupadj) scheme. It considers any 2 data chunks to be similar (i.e. candidates for delta compression). Our system achieves a higher throughput, by using existing duplicate adjacency information for resemblance detection and detect maximum duplication on data. Index Terms—Data deduplication, delta compression, system storage, index structure.

A SURVEY ON NEAREST KEYWORD SET SEARCH IN MULTI-DIMENSIONAL DATASETS [Full Text]

Abstract: Keyword-based search in text-rich multidimensional datasets facilitates many fresh applications and tools. In this paper, we Ponder objects that are tagged with keywords and are embedded in a vector space. For these datasets, we perusal queries that ask for the tightest groups of points satisfying a given set of keywords. We propose a novel method called Promise (Projection and Multi Scale Hashing) that uses Irregular projection and hash-based index structures, and achieves high scalability and speedup. Our scalability tests on datasets of sizes up to 10 million and dimensions up to 100 for requests having up to 9 keywords show that ProMiSH scales linearly with the Dataset size, the dataset dimension, the query size, and the result size. We present a Particular and an approximate version of the algorithm. Our experimental results on real and synthetic datasets show that ProMiSH has up To 60 times of speedup over state-of-the-art tree-based techniques. We are handling the spatial queries jointly and returns the only user specified number of optimal results, we implemented a cache based approach for efficient results. Index Terms: Querying, multi-dimensional data, indexing, hashing.

Secured Access Control Using Two-Way Approach for Cloud Computing Services [Full Text]

Abstract—In this paper, we present another Secured Access Control Using Two-Way Approach for Cloud Computing Services to achieving security in distributed cloud storage. In particular, in our proposed access control framework, a property based access control system is executed with the need of both a client secret key and a lightweight security device. As a client can’t access the data on the off chance that they don’t hold both secrete key and OTP. Moreover, we use Identity Based Encryption (IBE) algorithm to encrypt user data or file. IBE is an important primitive of ID- based cryptography. As such it is a type of public-key encryption in which the public key of a user is some unique information about the identity of the user (e.g. a user’s email address). We also apply Cauchy approach for data storage on cloud. In this approach first we divide (fragment) our file and then store each fragments on nodes. When user wants to upload another file then system checks is any fragment is similar to previous fragments. If any similar fragment is found then Cauchy approach assign pointer to new similar fragment instead of storing that fragment. With the help of our system we can achieve maximum security of data in distributed cloud. Likewise, characteristic based control in the framework too enables the cloud server to restrict the access to those clients with the same arrangement of properties while preserving client protection, i.e., the cloud server just realizes that the client satisfies the required predicate, however no clue has on the precise personality of the client. Index Terms—Access control, ASA,Cauchy Ap- proach,DelfiHellman, Fine-grained,Identity Based Encryption, Two-factor,RSA, Web services.
